Wow! Simply Wow!
This must be one of the greatest game experiences I`ve ever had. Not only does it look gorgeous, but the gameplay and story is top notch! It`s been a while since I was enjoying a game this much, so I highly recommend everyone else to test it out. Not being a fan of RPG`s though, I didn`t think I would enjoy this one, but man I was wrong.

Go try it! You won`t regret Cheesy

I loved the first mass effect. Best game I've played in years. I'm planning on getting this one for sure. But I've got a big stack of other games to finish first. Maybe by then it will be down to $20. HAhA!

This game is completely awesome.

Well, I can't really say "completely" yet since I'm only about 8 hrs into it.  But so far, it is awesome.

I too am not that big an RPG fan.  I mainly play Halo and Call of Duty, with some NBA 2K9 mixed in there for good measure.

But dang, Mass Effect 2 is blowing me away.

I loved the first one.  It felt like one big movie.

But this one, wow... feels like each episode is its own movie.

Bioware has definitley mastered story telling in this medium.

My birthday is a little less than a month away. Then I'll get some sweet sweet Mass Effect 2 goodness. Longest wait ever. It's driving me nuts when my friends start talking about how awesome it is and I haven't played it yet.

I really want to have a go on Mass Effect 2. I'm very curious, will have to make do with just videos for now.

I played the Heavy Rain demo last night, but sadly I just don't get it....I didn't see anything new, and I didn't find it fun. Maybe I'll give it another go.

Finally finished it.

Wow.  Very epic feel at the end.  Actually played the end several times and made different choices each time.  Had different endings.

I'm going to start all over and play again making different choices.

Does one have to have played the original ME prior to playing this one?

(Just got my 360 a few days ago - playing FF13 :-D )

No, you must not. But its a much cooler game experience with a lot more depths if you have. ME2 takes Info from your ME Saved Games and alters the story to a large degree depending on how you played ME. Also ME is a very good game!

I actually bought ME1 after I played ME2. There`s no need to have played ME1 before ME2 and IMO the ME1 gameplay is a bit more clunky. Both great games though Smiley

Well, you should play ME2 using your ME1 Saved Game... ME2 will present you with different reactions of characters, other scenes and a lot of little flavor pointing to your previous decisions, you did in ME1... There is a way (but not a must) to get Sheppard killed in ME2 while you are still able to finish the game... this would result in having a different hero character in the upcoming ME3 wich i think would result in a real different game experience.
I had much fun playing through ME2 2 times using both my ME1 Characters for those different little things.

Me2 blows away everything from the original. Definitely play if you liked the first one at all, its much more polished and cinematic.
